The M-53 freeway provides quick access to nearby Stony Creek Metropark to the north, with 4,000 acres of beaches, nature trails and picnic areas, along with a 6 mile biking/hiking trail that will eventually connect to Metropolitan Beach along Lake St. Upscale housing is on the increase as developers continue to build in the area. Just to the north is the Washington/Romeo area, an historic community in the heart of apple country.
