Was it a Medical Complication or was it Medical Malpractice?

Not every bad medical outcome means a doctor did something wrong. Some complications are known risks, even when proper care is provided. But when a healthcare provider fails to meet the accepted standard of care and that failure causes harm, it may be medical malpractice.

For this edition of Faraci Foodies, Faraci Lange paralegal Christine Norton takes us to the Finger Lakes, sharing some of her favorite places to eat, sip, explore, and enjoy throughout the region.

"To me, there is nothing quite like autumn in the Finger Lakes. Even as the boating season on Keuka Lake wraps up, returning home to Penn Yan always brings new flavors and experiences.
This weekend, I stopped at Brewery Ardennes, a Belgian-style brewery that has become a staple of my trips back to the area. Their approach to pairing craft b**r with artisan food is unmatched.

My order this visit was a perfect seasonal transition: an Oktoberfest Märzen paired with their Mushroom Fancy Toast and Savory B**r Mussels. I was so eager to try the mushroom toast that I missed the photo op, but the dish was flawless. The mussels were equally impressive—cooked beautifully in a sauce so delicious it practically demanded an extra side of toast to soak it all up.
