Before I went off to "read the law", I grew up in a small, close-knit neighborhood just across the tracks from the City of Rochester, NY. As I grew, I watched our community grapple with the economic hardship caused by the diminished success of some notable, homegrown blue-chip corporations. Even in the worst of times, my neighborhood was buoyed by the simple concepts of helping one another, and ad
vocating for what is right. Now, several years into active legal practice, I still find myself coming back to that deceptively simple idea of helping people, but with a broader vision for what that means. Today, I am blessed to work in a firm that allows me to live up to the simple neighborhood standard of helping people with the problems and concerns of everyday life as a litigation attorney, and community volunteer.
