Today, we will gather at the place no parent ever imagines standing on their child’s birthday.

We bring balloons, memories, tears, and love that still runs deep.

Because July 7 is Matthew’s birthday.

He would have turned another year older today—laughing, dancing, hugging, living.

Instead, we stand at his graveside with the ache of what could’ve been…
and the gratitude for the love he gave so fully while he was here.

But even in the silence, Matt still speaks.

Through every hug from Brittanee.
Through every giggle from Evie.
Through every friend who says, “He changed my life.”

Special Tribute Post – The Gift He Left Us

Matthew left this earth too soon.
But he didn’t leave us empty.

He left us with one of the greatest gifts—his beautiful girlfriend Brittanee and her precious daughter Evie.

He loved Evie as his own. He adored Brittanee with his whole heart.
And now, they are our daughter in love and our granddaughter by heart.

Every laugh from Evie… every hug from Britt…
It’s as if Matt is still whispering: “I’m here. Love continues.”
