TWO homes. TWO completely different stories. One major thing in common: both were ABNORMALLY long escrows. 😂🏡🔑

These were definitely not your typical 30-day, smooth-sailing transactions.

Between the two, I coordinated flooring installation, pulled permits, used my connections to turn a buyer’s $9,000 bid for work into $750 while creating a win-win for everyone involved and even learned how to get an inmate to notarize a deed (shoutout to Adelanto Prison 😅).

And that’s just naming a few of the plot twists. 😅

Not every escrow is simple. Sometimes getting to the closing table takes patience, creativity, connections, and a Realtor who is willing to figure 👏 it 👏 out.

I’m SO happy to finally get both of these closed for my sellers and so appreciative of everyone’s patience while we navigated the hiccups along the way.

And a big shoutout to the Realtors on the other side of both transactions. There’s no “I” in team, and these two were definitely a team effort!

MISSED CONNECTION: hoping you see this…

Home Depot.
Plant aisle.
Saturday afternoon.

I know this is a long shot, but I figured I’d try.

You were pushing a cart with exactly one succulent, a gallon of paint you looked very unsure about, and about six things you definitely didn’t come in for.

I was pretending I needed another plant.

Our eyes met.

Just for a second.

You smiled.

I smiled.

You looked back.

Then we both continued wandering Home Depot like it was somehow a social event.

I’ve thought about it ever since.

Maybe I misread the situation.

Maybe you were just trying to figure out the difference between satin and eggshell.

But there was something about you.

You looked like the kind of girl who says yes to girls’ nights.

Backyard BBQs.

Neighborhood block parties.

Garage sale Saturdays.

Christmas light tours.

Spontaneous margaritas.

And honestly…

I could always use another friend like that.

I’m the girl who throws neighborhood events, hosts parties for no reason, loves bringing people together, and somehow always convinces everyone to stay longer than they planned.

Oh…

And I also happen to help people buy and sell homes.
