The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser dedicated to care, support, and research for this devastating disease. Held annually in over 600 communities across the nation, this inspiring event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to come together and make a difference.

The Fourth Annual North Fork Walk to End Alzheimer’s was held this past Saturday, October 3, at Peconic Landing in Greenport, NY.

The North Fork Breast Health Coalition will be hosting its 28th Annual 5K Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness on Sunday, September 27th. There will be 300+ walkers, a community that shows up big every single year.

The law firm of Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo announced the recipients of its annual Community Service Scholarships. This is the twenty-sixth consecutive year the Firm has awarded scholarships in East Hampton, Southampton and Riverhead, and the twelfth consecutive year the Firm has awarded a scholarship in Mattituck.

On June 25, 2026 at the Mattituck High School Senior Awards Night, the 2026 Scholarship was awarded to Ryan A. Harned.
