Calling on Ridgefield’s creative community!

We’re thrilled to announce Ridgefield’s 2nd annual Storefront Decorating Contest, celebrating the creativity, character, and holiday spirit of Ridgefield.

This fast and festive competition runs from Friday, November 27 (Town Lighting) through Friday morning, December 4 (Holiday Stroll).

As neighbors and visitors explore Ridgefield, they’ll have the opportunity to vote for their favorite storefront displays using QR codes provided to participating businesses.

ALL BUSINESSES ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE, DOWNTOWN AND BEYOND!

Rather than traditional first, second, and third place prizes, we’re celebrating creativity with three distinctly Ridgefield award categories:

✨ Holiday Spirit Award

❤️ Community Heart Award

🎨 Cultural District Showcase Award

Interpret these categories however you see fit! We can’t wait to see what Ridgefield’s creative community comes up with.

The Prizes: Each of our three award winners will receive a special holiday wreath with a custom keepsake ornament hanging from it, prominently displaying their winning award title. The wreath will be theirs to proudly hang at their storefront all season long. And when the decorations come down, the personalized ornament will be theirs to keep for years to come.

🏆 Winners will be announced by Ridgefield First Selectman, Rudy Marconi, at the opening ceremony of Saturday’s Holiday Stroll on December 5!

Participation Fee: $25 per storefront
Registration Deadline: November 20

Two days of holiday traditions, festive surprises, and a little extra magic in downtown Ridgefield!

Friday, December 4 | 6–9 PM
Our beloved horse-drawn carriage rides return, along with toy soldiers, Victorian carolers, and plenty of holiday cheer throughout downtown!

Saturday, December 5 | 12–4 PM
The Holiday Market is back! And so are the toy soldiers. Plus music, live performances, a visit from Santa, crafts, local vendors, and prizes for our most festively dressed guests!

And there’s even more to look forward to. We’re introducing some exciting new programming this year, alongside performances from some of Ridgefield’s favorite local groups. More details coming soon!

We’re delighted to welcome The Mariner Tavern to the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce!

A longtime fixture in town has entered an exciting new era. With a beautifully renovated space, a refreshed menu, and the culinary vision of acclaimed chef and owner Shannon Sturz, The Mariner is giving Ridgefield plenty of reasons to pull up a chair.

Shannon brings years of experience and an impressive culinary background to this beloved local establishment, pairing thoughtful cooking with the welcoming atmosphere of a neighborhood tavern.
