LET ME REINTRODUCE MYSELF 🤍
I’ve been thinking about doing one of these for a while because there are some new faces around here, and honestly, even some of you who have known me forever may not know all the things. 😂
I’m Ashly.
I’m a Ridgecrest girl. I grew up here. My family had businesses here. I met my husband in the halls of BHS, raised our family here, and I built businesses of my own here.
I’ve spent 25+ years selling real estate in this little desert town.
My husband and I got married when I was 19. He’s my best friend and my partner in all of this craziness.
We have two kids, nine years apart. One is 21. One is 12. They could not possibly be more opposite, and they are absolutely my everything.
I’m an only child who somehow ended up with some pretty amazing brothers and sisters through marriage and cousins who I’ve claimed as siblings.
We have a Frenchie who stinks and a pig named Crockpot, because apparently even our pets have to be a little ridiculous.
I love my community. I love getting involved. And if I get an idea for an event or fundraiser, everyone around me knows we’re probably about to turn it into a whole production. Hence Boujee Bags & Bingo, which benefits the Women’s Center.
I love real estate. Like, probably an abnormal amount. 😂 I love the strategy, the marketing, the contracts, the changes happening in our industry and having a seat at the table while some of those changes are happening.
Palomino Properties is here. My friends are here. My community is here. I am the President of the Ridgecrest Area Association of Realtors, I’m a Director for the California Association of Realtors, and I serve on the board of the Women’s Center High Desert.
There’s a movie quote that I love.

Roots and Wings . My new look on life.
My roots are very much here.
But somewhere along the way, I decided to use those wings too. 🤍
A year ago we bought Stark Realty, Inc., a real estate company at the beach in Ventura County with more than 50 years of history of its own.
So yes… I own TWO real estate companies now.
And yes, that means I’m doing a lot of traveling and definitely racking up the miles. 😂 But I have an amazing team at Palomino Properties. So if you happen to catch me on a day I’m not in Ridgecrest, I’ve got you covered. My team is here, and my phone, as always, is ALWAYS with me. 📱
And after 25+ years of selling real estate here, I know this market. I know the neighborhoods, the houses, the history and all the little Ridgecrest things you don’t learn from looking at the MLS. That doesn’t change just because I’m putting a few more miles on my car. 🤍
And there’s a pretty cool full circle part to all of this.
China Lake and Point Mugu are sister bases. So if work takes you from our desert to Ventura County, or brings you from Ventura County to Ridgecrest, I can now help you on both ends of that move. 🏜️🌊

Because my husband and I apparently looked at our already crazy life and thought, you know what this needs? More. 😂
Life is busy. It’s messy. We rarely slow down.
And I wouldn’t change much of it.
I’m incredibly proud of where I came from, and I’m also proud that after all these years, I’m still willing to try something new.
Strong roots don’t keep you from growing.
Sometimes they’re exactly what give you the courage to use your wings. 🤍
