☀️ Recap: The 3rd Annual Award-Winning Summer Associate Breakfast ☀️

What a morning! Yesterday, the Richmond Bar Association hosted its 3rd Annual Summer Associate Breakfast at the beautiful Country Club of Virginia, and this year's event set a new attendance record with more than 80 guests, including 58 summer associates representing firms across the Richmond legal community.

The program kicked off with remarks from John Badman IV of Miles & Stockbridge, the exclusive sponsor of this wonderful event. We're so grateful for their continued partnership in welcoming the next generation of Richmond lawyers. Attendees also heard from RBA Executive Director Annie Holland and RBA President Ben Pace, who shared what makes the Richmond legal community such a special place to build a career.

We were especially honored to welcome current Virginia State Bar President Brett Marston, who joined us and offered his insights to the summer associates as they begin their journeys in the profession.

To every summer associate, firm, and member who attended: thank you for making this our biggest breakfast yet. This program is one of the highlights of our summer, and we're already counting down to next year! 👏

Yesterday, the Richmond Bar Association launched one of our newest member programs: Judicial Brown Bag Lunches!⚖️

The RBA has long been fortunate to have a strong relationship with the bench at every level, and this luncheon series was created to deepen those connections in a more personal setting. At our inaugural lunch, we were honored to spend time with Judge Hudson, learning more about the lessons he has drawn from his years on the bench and the interests that keep him busy outside the courthouse.

👏The Richmond Bar Association was proud to attend the Virginia State Bar Annual Meeting and the LSBS Awards Breakfast to receive both the Bar Association of the Year and Award of Merit for The Richmond Lawyer.
