I am very proud to receive the endorsement of the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters for Family Court Judge for Department 13!

As an organization representing more than 60,000 skilled tradespeople across ten western states, I am flattered that they choose to support me in my candidacy for Family Court Judge for Department 13.

I am also appreciative that they interviewed both myself and my opponent at the same time. I enjoyed that format and it allowed them to compare and contrast the two candidates in real time. Again, thank you Western States Regional Council of Carpenters!!!

I am honored to announce that I have been endorsed by the Northern Nevada Central Labor Council! NNCLC is an alliance of 32 affiliates with more than 14,000 members. The NNCLC works every single day to support policies that benefit working people.

While a judge musts always remain independent and apply the law impartially, it means a great deal to me to have the trust of those who represent hardworking women and men in our community.

Monday Memo:

I was invited to interview with the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters. I interviewed this last Saturday.

Both of the candidates were invited to interview AT THE SAME TIME. I liked that format a lot. It felt more like a conversation and less like an interview.

I enjoyed meeting them and answering questions.

I’m not sure when they’ll announce which one of us they will endorse and support for judge.

Regardless, I enjoyed the interview and appreciated the new format.

People were MAD. I used a texting program to encourage people to vote and to add any comments that they had. I sent texts to THOUSANDS of people. These are the responses I received back.

Needless to say, I will not be texting any of you again!
