She is licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada, the State of California, and the U. She represents clients in a variety of practice areas of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, and temporary protective orders. Prior to opening her private practice in 2013, Kaitlyn was a Deputy Attorney General in the Litigation Division of the Nevada Attorney General’s office. During her
tenure, she gained broad civil litigation experience in jurisdictions across the State, representing the Nevada Department of Corrections. Before joining the Attorney General’s office, Kaitlyn represented numerous creditors, including several of the nation’s largest banks, in civil litigation and bankruptcy proceedings. She gained experience representing creditors in chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, as well as in foreclosure proceedings, evictions, garnishments and executions of judgments. She additionally drafted contracts and financial agreements on behalf of her clients. Prior to her experience in creditors rights, Kaitlyn managed the Family Law Department of a medium sized law firm in Reno, NV and was the primary or sole counsel in cases involving all aspects of Family Law, including divorce, custody, child support, and other related matters. Through this practice, she became highly successful at negotiating out-of-court agreements and settlements, saving her clients both time and money. Kaitlyn graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California. Prior to graduation, she externed for the Hon. Hardy, in the Family Division of the Second Judicial District Court, Reno, NV. Thereafter, she clerked for both the Hon. Huff, Third Judicial District Court in Fallon, NV, and for the Hon. Russell, First Judicial District Court, Carson City, NV.
