Is ANTIFA still around?

I wonder how we can find out where they are are, who is in it, and what the deciding criteria is. They must still be out there somewhere. Crazy how they almost destroyed the USA and then just totaly vanished, but will resurface soon and mail ballots. If someone finds out where they are, take pics, and post them, please.

In all seriousness though, I’d say I know at least one person who is in fact alive, breaths air, and is a documented or known member of ———/——— (boy scouts, # # # (any three letters works), other groups). I’m yet to encounter ANTIFA.

Jokes aside I’ve been arguing for years it doesn’t exist it’s a figment of imagination, a boogy man and group who/that mails in ballots to steal elections. Someone please prove me wrong and and pass me the contact info of anyone affiliated or the number for the group headquarters or home location would be best.

Been saying this for years. Way too many criminal laws. Every day every person over the age of 18 commits one or more crimes without ever being on notice or suspecting their conduct could subject them to criminal punishment. Odds are 75% everyone who read this comitted a felony today without understanding how or why.

In his new book, "Over Ruled," Supreme Court Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch is concerned that too many Americans are "caught by surprise" by a vast swath of unreasonable laws.

21 year old kid. Released from prison a year ago. Stopped for questionable reasons. Officers alleged they could not issue a ticket and allow him to return to his vehicle without frisking it for fi****ms. Ghost-gun and contraband were discovered during search. Charged with 3 felonies, a gross misdemeanor, and misdemeanors.

While on bail officers stop him for questionable reasons and once again and discover contraband again. He is charged with more crimes in a second case.

Today this kid entered a plea to possession of paraphernalia, and a CCW offense, both misdemeanors. All other charges dismissed and credit for time served (11 days in jail). Both cases closed. No probation, no fines, no supervision, no drug or alcohol testing.

Rare escape from imprisonment given the circumstances.

In similar cases courts (I have been involved with) have held “association” status coupled with possession of a small backpack or f***y pack is reasonable cause to search vehicle and bags therein for weapons (anything). The court in this case wasn’t having it at all, despite assertions of involvement in a shooting, and shut the case down after two days of preliminary hearing testimony.

Happy moms make me happy.

I've been telling prosecutors in a few of my cases that the statute making it a gross misdemeanor to possess a ghost gun in Nevada is obviously unconstitutional. I guess I was wrong. Sh*t.... I have a few clients who are not going to be happy about this. Personally, I see issues going forward with trying to enforce this. Only manufactures are required to stamp serial numbers on fi****ms (and importers). If I print or assemble a gun in my backyard using parts I make myself, I do not need to have a serial number imprinted because there is no way I can do it. This is what Nevada's Supreme Court just held was necessary, somewhat indirectly. This will be a mess going forward.

The Nevada Supreme Court has ruled that the state's ghost gun ban is constitutional, upholding Assembly Bill 286, which was signed into law in 2021.

Bad policy. Prosecutors overcharge as a means of negotiation, the same way car dealerships overcharge on sticker prices. This policy mandates that the most serious offense charged cannot be negotiated down. This means that countless cases will go to trial rather than being negotiated (or that the system is so intrinsically unfair that attorneys who couldn't afford to go to trial before will continue taking coerced deals), which will unnecessarily bog down the courts. The tax payers should be informed of exactly how much this policy is costing them after it is in place for two years and there is measurable data.

Defense lawyers think a new plea bargaining policy is overwhelming the court system and disincentivizing plea deals. The county's top prosecutor says the rise is in part due to the pandemic.
