Who is Arlyn?
• I graduated from USC and started to design and build satellites
• I received a merit scholarship to attend Loyola Law School and started my law practice with a national premier Intellectual Property law firm, Lyon & Lyon
• I also speak Taiwanese, conversational Mandarin and conversational Tagalog

• I find and vet expert witnesses for litigation cases of all types (I.e. IP and non-IP litigation cases)
How I differentiate from other IP attorneys:
• I designed and built satellites for about 10 years before law school. And, with my bachelor & master of engineering degrees, I use my technical experience to help clients obtain patents for their inventive ideas
• My patent experience includes both transactional IP and litigation in IP. My transactional experience makes me a better litigator while my litigation experience gives me the unique understanding of how to best prepare patent applications so the issued patents are primed for enforcement or licensing
• My experience includes being the Chief Intellectual Property attorney at a medical device company. As Chief IP attorney, I have the perspective of a company’s goal in developing their intellectual property strategies to help them succeed
