We are proud to announce and welcome our new associate, Olivia B. Handelman, Esq., who will litigate employment and civil litigation matters throughout the State of New Jersey. Ms. Handelman will concentrate on representing plaintiffs in employment discrimination, hostile work environment, and sexual harassment cases.

Ms. Handelman graduated from Gettysburg College summa cm laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts she self-designed through the Interdisciplinary Studies Department, combining the subjects of Philosophy, Political Science, and Classical Studies. Ms. Handelman also studied abroad in Bath, UK. Following her graduation, Ms. Handelman attended the Cardozo School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship.

During law school, Ms. Handelman interned for the Honorable Gia L. Morris of the NY Supreme Court, Criminal Term. The following summer, Ms. Handelman had the opportunity to intern at the Maui County Department of the Corporation Counsel, where she assisted in litigation stemming from the 2023 Lahaina Wildfires. Ms. Handelman also externed for the New York City Law Department, drafting two successful appellate briefs, and externed at the Perlmutter Center for Legal Justice.

We are proud to announce and welcome our new associate, Ema J. Jacketti, Esq., who will litigate employment and civil litigation matters throughout the State of New Jersey. Ms. Jacketti will concentrate on representing plaintiffs in employment discrimination, hostile work environment, and sexual harassment cases.

Ms. Jacketti graduated summa cm laude from William Paterson University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, and minors in Criminology and Criminal Justice and Social Sciences. She was a member of the Social Sciences Honors Program and the National Student-Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma.

Ms. Jacketti earned her Juris Doctorate from Widener University Delaware Law School in May 2025, where she was named to the Dean’s Honors List. During law school, Ms. Jacketti served in the Dignity Rights Clinic, where she worked directly with the ACLU of Delaware on matters involving constitutional and civil rights.

Prior to joining McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., Ms. Jacketti served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Valter H. Must, J.S.C., and the Honorable Christopher B. Leitner, J.S.C. of the New Jersey Superior Court, Ocean Vicinage. As a judicial law clerk, Ms. Jacketti gained experience in civil litigation by managing the motion calendar, researching various civil litigation topics, recommending dispositions of pending motions, and observing judicial proceedings. Additionally, she was certified as a civil mediator and assisted parties in settling landlord/tenant and small claims disputes.

We are proud to announce and welcome our new associate, Rhyan J. Almonacy, Esq., who will litigate employment and civil litigation matters throughout the State of New Jersey. Mr. Almonacy will concentrate on representing plaintiffs in employment discrimination, hostile work environment, and sexual harassment cases.

Mr. Almonacy earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from Kean University in 2022. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law in 2025. During his time at law school, Mr. Almonacy served as President of the Black Law Student Association and was an active member of the Seton Hall Journal of Legislation and Public Policy.

While in law school, Mr. Almonacy gained valuable experience across several areas of the legal system. He served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Naazneen B. Khan in Essex County’s Family Division and as a research assistant to Professor Solangel Maldonado, assisting with research for her book, The Architecture of Desire. Mr. Almonacy later joined Calcagni & Kanefsky LLP as a summer associate.

We are proud to announce and welcome our new associate, Daniel Jang, Esq., who will litigate employment and civil litigation matters throughout the State of New Jersey and New York. Mr. Jang will concentrate on representing plaintiffs in employment discrimination, hostile work environment, and sexual harassment cases.

Mr. Jang graduated cm laude from Boston University in 2020, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Mr. Jang then earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2025. While in law school, Mr. Jang served as an intern with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General in Newark. Mr. Jang also served as a summer associate at a New York law firm that handles state and federal criminal defense, tax matters, and high-stakes trials.

Upon graduation, Mr. Jang served as the 2025-2026 Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Gary K. Wolinetz, J.S.C., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County. During his clerkship, he performed extensive legal research on a broad range of civil and Complex Business Litigation Program matters, drafted memoranda, and served as a settlement facilitator for landlord-tenant and small claims matters. Drawing on this experience and his interest in litigation, Mr. Jang joined the team at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. as an associate in the firm’s Newark office.
