❄️ Monmouth County just got hit with over two feet of snow — and now comes the real risk: untreated ice and dangerous walkways.

Property owners and management companies are responsible for clearing snow and making entrances, sidewalks, and parking lots reasonably safe. When they don’t — and someone gets hurt — they can be held accountable.

If you slipped on untreated snow or ice, document the scene and seek medical care immediately. Evidence disappears quickly as conditions change.

Injured? You may have a claim.

✈️ PFAS Contamination at Airports: A Hidden Crisis with Legal Consequences

For decades, airports across the U.S. relied on AFFF firefighting foam for safety — unaware it contained toxic PFAS "forever chemicals" that would contaminate soil, water, and nearby communities.

Now, facilities face mounting cleanup costs, regulatory pressure, and community exposure risks — all due to manufacturers that failed to warn them.

💼 Keefe Law Firm is helping airports pursue legal action to recover remediation costs and hold AFFF manufacturers accountable. If your airport is dealing with PFAS contamination, now is the time to act.

🔍 New Study: PFAS Exposure Linked to 31% Higher Odds of Type 2 Diabetes

A recent peer-reviewed study involving over 360 individuals found that exposure to a mixture of PFAS chemicals was associated with a 31% increase in the odds of developing type 2 diabetes. The largest contributor to this association was perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS). Researchers also identified specific metabolic markers—such as sulfolithocholylglycine—that suggest PFAS may disrupt pathways related to glucose and fat regulation.

While the study cannot confirm causation, it adds to mounting evidence that PFAS exposure may significantly impact metabolic health.

3M, one of world's the largest PFAS manufacturers, has committed to fully stopping production of the chemicals by the end of 2025. However, the associated long-term health concerns will remain.
