Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla is proud to announce that Linda M. Lee has been promoted from associate to shareholder effective January 1, 2023.
Linda specializes in environmental and real estate development matters. She counsels clients on all aspects of environmental compliance under state and federal law, including CERCLA/Superfund, site remediation and land use permitting. In her real estate practice, Linda represents developers of commercial and residential projects on all aspects of acquisition, development, and disposition of property from the negotiation and drafting of contracts through closing. In conjunction with her primary areas of practice, Lee also handles complex litigation, primarily at the appellate level.
Linda has written articles on a wide range of topics regarding state and federal environmental law.
Linda was critical to the formation and serves as co-chair of the law firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA-NJ).
She earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Newark, where she was the editor-in-chief of the Rutgers Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Board and a teaching associate for the Legal Analysis Writing and Research Skills program. She earned her B.A. from Ramapo College.
Before joining Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla in 2019, Lee was a law clerk in the New Jersey Appellate Division and practiced commercial litigation across a wide range of industries.
