At the Law Office of Steven P. Monaghan, LLC we’re taking the necessary measures to continue our operations without disruption during the response to the Corona Virus, or COVID-19.

Our primary focus in this time is the welfare of our employees, and you, our clients. To that end, you may call us and encounter things like children in the background making noises. Many schools have closed in our area, and we may have employees working from home. Client meetings are being rescheduled as telephonic conferences. Please note the Courts are closed 3/16/2020 and 03/17/2020, and they are using that time to transition to do more Court appearances telephonically. The Court, however, is still available for emergency matters. Here at the Law Office of Steven P. Appellate Court reverses Superior Court Decision to exclude savings component from alimony.

Even though the Family Part found that the monthly savings were part of the marital lifestyle, but excluded the amount from its
calculation of alimony because savings were not necessary to
