Over 30 years ago, we started with little more than borrowed money and an unwavering commitment to craft by our founders, former police officer Jeff Hoffman and Kristi Hoffman. That dedication follows us to where we are today, supplying all branches of the U.S. military, law enforcement agencies, dealers, and firearm manufacturers nationwide. Every single round of ammunition leaving our factory is hand-inspected because there are still things around here that refuse to be mass produced, and made to last means made to last. What sculpted the land, channeled the rivers, built the towns, and shaped the people—everything that went into making the Black Hills—goes into everything we make. Black Hills Am******on is well known for the work we've done in pioneering the 6.5 Creedmoor M1200 military am******on, building calibers to extend the reach of our Designated Marksmen well past the limitations of 7.62x51 ri**es. Now, we bring that accuracy capability to the hunter!

Our friends at Sierra, long known for their MatchKing line have produced new 6.5 projectiles with the same proven geometry and ballistic coefficients, but with
added design features to produce excellent long range terminal results. This is the MatchKing X
