We were honored to host a cocktail hour celebrating Judge J. Brian Ratledge and his dedicated service to Wake County.

Judge Ratledge has served on the District Court bench since 2018 and was re-elected in 2022. Throughout his tenure, he has presided over Criminal and Civil Courts, with a particular focus on Family Court matters, including child custody, domestic violence, and divorce. He also served as Wake County’s Lead Family Court Judge from April 2021 through July 2025.

We are grateful for Judge Ratledge’s commitment to administering justice fairly, effectively, and meaningfully. His service to the community—both in the courtroom and through his church and personal passions—continues to make a lasting impact.
