For 25 years, Angier Bike Fest has brought together motorcycle enthusiasts from across North Carolina for a weekend of riding, live music, great food, vendors, and community.

What began in 2001 as a gathering of riders looking to make a difference has grown into one of the region's most anticipated motorcycle events.

More importantly, Angier Bike Fest has spent the last quarter century supporting children and families affected by brain tumors through its partnership with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

Hardison & Cochran is proud to support this year's event as a sponsor.

If you're attending on Saturday, be sure to stop by our booth and pick up some free promotional items. We'd love the opportunity to meet you!

This year's festival takes place June 4-7 at Depot Square in Downtown Angier and includes:

Lifting injuries can happen in more jobs than people realize. In North Carolina, workers in warehouses, construction, manufacturing, and delivery jobs often suffer serious back and shoulder injuries from heavy lifting. But healthcare workers are injured too while transferring or repositioning patients during long shifts. Nurses, CNAs, hospital staff, and home healthcare workers put significant strain on their bodies every day.

Other professions that commonly see lifting injuries include firefighters, EMTs, sanitation workers, movers, mechanics, retail stock employees, and school staff assisting students or moving equipment.

These injuries are not always caused by one dramatic moment. Many develop over time from repetitive strain, awkward lifting, or cumulative wear and tear on the body. Herniated discs, shoulder injuries, rotator cuff tears, and back strain can leave workers unable to perform their regular job duties.

If you suffered a lifting injury while working in North Carolina, Hardison & Cochran helps injured workers understand their rights under the North Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act.

What is a Clincher Agreement in North Carolina? 🤔

A Clincher Agreement is a full and final settlement of a North Carolina Workers’ Compensation claim. Instead of continuing to receive weekly wage replacement benefits and medical coverage, you accept a one-time lump-sum payment. In exchange, you agree to close your case permanently.

Most people think a car accident claim is just about medical bills and missed work.

It’s not.

There are hidden costs that can follow you long after the crash.

Lost earning capacity. If your injuries affect your ability to work long term, it is not just about the paychecks you missed. It is about your future income, raises, and career growth.

Mental and emotional impact. Anxiety, stress, and even PTSD can become part of daily life after a serious accident. Those effects are real and should be accounted for.

Loss of quality of life. When injuries limit what you can do, from hobbies to everyday routines, that matters.

Out of pocket help. If you cannot cook, clean, or take care of your kids during recovery, those added expenses should be included.

Diminished vehicle value. Even after repairs, your car may be worth less simply because it was in a crash.

These are the kinds of costs insurance companies do not rush to point out.

If you were hurt in a car accident in North Carolina, make sure every part of your loss is considered.
