Power of Attorney Information
The Signer/Principal authorizes the Attorney in Fact (AIF) also known as the Agent,to act on his or her behalf.
To execute the power of attorney in North Carolina both the Principal and the Agent must be presented in front of a Notary Public.
They both need to be present with valid ID and the Principal /Signer needs to be competent,meaning they have to had read, and understand and acknowledge what they are signing.
