Some Saturdays are for slowing down, getting outside, and seeing where the day takes you. 🤎

This one took us to Durham Central Park, and it was such a fun change of pace.

Phoebe and I spent the day walking around, checking out the vendors, trying the food, grabbing lemonade, and just enjoying all the color and energy happening around us.

These are the kinds of days I love sharing because living in the Triangle means there’s always another neighborhood, event, local business, or community to experience just a short drive away.

No house hunting. No real estate lesson.

Just a really good Saturday in Durham. 🤎

Things I wish every out-of-state buyer knew before moving to North Carolina. 🤎

Every state has its own way of buying a home, and North Carolina has a few things that often surprise buyers relocating here.

From due diligence to attorney closings and even the differences between communities, understanding the process ahead of time helps you make more confident decisions.

My goal isn't just to help you buy a home.

It's to help you understand the process, find the right community, and make a move that fits your lifestyle.

Happy 12th Birthday, Elijah. 🤎

One of my favorite things about watching you grow is seeing the world through your eyes.

You've never been afraid to ask questions or see things differently. I pray you never lose that.

One thing I've always admired about you is that you truly do life on your own terms. You remind me every day that there isn't just one way to experience the world.

My prayer for you is that you always know how deeply you're loved, never forget who you are, and always have the courage to keep being exactly who God created you to be.

Keep dreaming big.
Keep being kind.
Keep seeing the world through your own eyes.

And never lose the joy that makes you... you.

Happy Birthday, buddy. I love you more than you'll ever know. 🤎

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your business... is step away from it.

This trip wasn't about escaping work.
It was about returning to it differently.

I didn't realize how tired I was until I finally slowed down.

Not just physically.
Mentally.
Creatively.

Coming home, I don't feel like I'm picking back up where I left off.

It feels like a fresh start.

A reminder that rest isn't something you earn after you've done enough.
It's part of building something that lasts.

One thing I promised myself on this trip...
I'll never go that long without taking another vacation again.

Before I unpacked my bags, I booked the next one.

Because I've learned that taking care of myself isn't separate from taking care of my business.
It's one of the best investments I can make in it.

Here's to a fresh start. 🤎
