As someone who has lived and worked in southeastern Wisconsin for most of my life, it’s no surprise to see Wisconsin ranked third-best nationwide for livability. Affordable housing, excellent healthcare, solid schools, a strong economy, and low unemployment all contribute to making our state a great place to call home. I see these benefits every day in communities like Racine, Caledonia, Mount Pleasant, Wind Point, and Sturtevant. For those considering a move or just curious about what makes this area special, it’s encouraging to know that the Midwest continues to stand out, with Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan also earning high marks for livability.
