Effective today, July 10, 2020, the Governor's Executive Order allowing for the deferral of smoke and CO inspections is rescinded. Buyers who had agreed to defer the inspections during the time of the Executive Order must have their inspections completed by October 9, 2020 and current sellers should be prepared to obtain smoke and CO inspections for closings again. Our office will be reaching out to notify our clients but please contact our office with any questions.

Are you selling your home? You need a certificate of compliance from the local fire department that shows your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms meet the requirements for a sale or transfer.
