For a while, buying a home felt like a race. Homes were flying off the market, competition was intense, and buyers often felt like they had to make fast decisions with very little room to think.

But lately, things have started to shift a bit.

In many cases, buyers are seeing a little more inventory, slightly less frenzy around every listing, and more opportunity to slow down, ask questions, and make thoughtful decisions. That doesn’t mean every home is easy to get — but it does mean the market may feel a little less overwhelming than it did before.
