One of my favorite places to slow down in Puyallup is Pioneer Park.

As a homeschooling mom, we've spent countless afternoons here sitting in the shade, taking breaks from our lessons, and exploring the art and history throughout the park.

What I love most is how this space brings people together. You'll see families playing, friends catching up, people enjoying lunch, and community events that make downtown feel alive.

It's a reminder that some of the best parts of a community aren't found inside a building—they're found in the places where people gather, connect, and create memories.

If you haven't visited Pioneer Park lately, it's worth a stop.

Have you been to the lupine fields near Farm 12 yet? 💜✨

Every year, these beautiful blooms show up for a short time and remind me why I love living in this area.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the day-to-day that we forget to slow down and appreciate what's right in our own backyard. From the vibrant purple fields to the mountain views on a clear day, places like this are part of what make Pierce County so special.

Whether you're snapping photos, taking a walk, or just enjoying a few quiet moments outside, it's definitely worth a stop while the lupines are in bloom.

Whew… today was one of those days that truly filled my bucket 🥹❤️✨

My heart is SO full.

This morning started with our quarterly meeting where we finally got to give away the funds we raised last year to the 3 incredible nonprofits that were chosen the year prior 🙌🏽💫

💖 Knock Knock Angels, Washington State
💖 Raising Girls
💖 Skoolie Foundation

And y’all… EACH organization received $14,000 🤯👏🏽✨ WOWZER!! What an amazing reminder of what community can do when people come together with purpose ❤️

Then after that, we hosted our very first Neighborhood Stories featuring Hilltop 📖🏡🎨

And honestly… what better way to preserve history than to tell the stories of the neighborhood through the people who truly live it?

Anybody can state facts… but it takes community members who embody the area to tell its story 💯✨

A huge thank you to Mr. Anthony from The Fish House Café and Brendan A. Nelson for being such incredible storytellers and sharing their hearts, history, and experiences with all of us 🙌🏽

I already know the video recap is going to have me emotional 😭🎥❤️ I seriously cannot wait for it to come out.
