Woodrow-Snell is following this case. The conflict of the Oklahoma Youthful Offenders Act with the victims rights under Marsy’s Law and choices made by the Payne County legal system are controversial hot topics.

Regardless, the citizens of Oklahoma, must be aware in Oklahoma, the rate of r**e and attempted r**e among females reported to law enforcement has been 35-45% higher than the U.S. rate for the past decade.

A judge has scheduled an April hearing after a victim challenged the youthful offender sentencing of Jesse Butler, who was convicted of ra**ng two Stillwater high school students.

I have a case in Johnson County, Tishomingo Oklahoma. Beautiful drive, not I-35. The court house staff and judge’s staff are welcoming and helpful. The mediator was well trained and professional. Opposing counsel, Lacie Lawson is reasonable, realistic and a pleasure to do business with. The Latte’Da Coffee Shop is across the street cozy with great menu. Now I am on the lookout for Gwen and my “buddy” Blake.

The McClain County Courthouse will be closed all day Thursday. Woodrow-Snell offices are also without power. But our office management system is cloud based so we can work remote until power is restored.
Current clients send mycase message if you need anything.

Due to storm-related issues, the McClain County Courthouse and McClain County Sheriff's administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, January 8th. Dispatch and operations are unaffected.
