There is a particular kind of morning that only happens on Block Island’s west side, when the light comes up over the Sound before anyone else on the island is awake, and the water off the pool deck looks like it simply continues into the horizon. Swipe so you can see for yourself.

Not the ferry lines or the summer crowds downtown, but the quiet, private stretch of Grace’s Cove, where the days move at whatever pace you decide they should. Mornings start on a veranda facing open water. Afternoons disappear into a pool that seems to hang over the sea itself. Evenings end around the fire, watching the sky do something different every single night.

What makes a good real estate agent in Rhode Island? 🏡

It’s more than knowing the market or understanding contracts.

A lot of it comes down to paying attention to what a client needs in the moment and knowing when to explain something more clearly, slow the process down, or take the lead so they don’t have to carry every part of the decision themselves.

Real estate gets personal very quickly because the numbers are big and the decisions affect real life.

That’s why good representation should feel steady, thoughtful, and specific to the person in front of you.

Sometimes that means negotiating harder. Sometimes it means pointing out something a client hasn’t considered yet, or being willing to say that a house, offer, or timeline may not be the right fit.

The best advice isn’t always the advice that keeps a deal moving.

A lot of that work never makes it into the closing photo, but it can completely change how someone feels about the experience.

That’s the kind of work I want to be known for.

Sellers carry a lot of stress into this process, and not all of it is earned.

Some of it protects you. A major inspection issue and a wrong price are both real risks, and they deserve real attention before your home ever goes live. Some of it is understandable but fixable.

Some of it just keeps you up at night for no reason. Worrying about the mess during a showing, or what a buyer’s agent personally thinks of you, rarely has anything to do with whether your home sells.

Knowing which worry is which is half the battle.
