Interestingly, Kauai was not hit as hard this time around. While we did have some severe flooding and heavy rain, we did not experience catastrophic evacuations or other extreme measures. The same can’t be said for the other islands.

On Oahu, this storm has been described as the worst in 20 years. I wish those affected or displaced a swift road to recuperation. Nature can cause such devastation, and on Hawaii, often we see the union of disaster and beauty.

Things on Kauai that set it apart in Hawaii real estate:

🏝️Kauai has more sandy beach frontage than the rest of the Hawaiian islands combined.

🏘️ Kauai has had well established vacation rental laws since 2008. Nobody is getting the rug pulled on their Airbnb! (Unless they miss their tvr renewal date 😬)

🥥 On Kauai, no building can be taller than the tallest coconut tree (yes, this is law). That means, no skyscraper breaking views of emerald mountains and crystal ocean.

🏆 Kauai was rated the best Hawaiian island by me in a tik-tok video

These reasons and more make Kauai the best place to own in Hawaii, which is truly the best place in the world. I am only biased by the truth!
