Success! Probation terminated early for client convicted of manslaughter.

Jonathan Limary, 29, of Presque Isle was sentenced in 2019 to 16 years in the death of Jean Bragdon in Caribou.

Swanson Law attorneys Adam Swanson and Ben Everett recently completed a 24-hour DWI Detection & Standardized Field Sobriety Testing practitioner course at USM’s Lewiston-Auburn Campus. The course was offered by the Maine Commission on Public Defense Services and taught by Anthony Palacios of Impaired Driving Specialists, LLC. Both attorneys had to pass written and practical Standardized Field Sobriety Testing proficiencies as prescribed by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration. This is the same training required for law enforcement officers completing the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program. Additionally, they performed Standardized Field Sobriety Testing on live volunteer drinkers. Adam and Ben are excited to apply the latest evidence-based best practices and trial techniques to benefit their clients.
