The closing photo is the fun part but there’s usually a whole lot that happens before we ever get there.

The late-night texts. The calls you never knew I made. The houses I told you weren’t the house. The negotiations, inspections, paperwork, problem solving and all the little fires I try to put out before they ever become your problem. 😂

My job isn’t just to open doors and write offers. It’s to protect you, advocate for you and make the entire process feel a whole lot less overwhelming.

We can spend forever worrying about the interest rate, the timing, what could go wrong, whether we’re making the “perfect” decision… and completely miss what’s waiting on the other side.

Sometimes the honey looks like finally buying the house you’ve been dreaming about. Sometimes it’s making the move, starting over, taking the chance, or simply enjoying the season you’re already in.

You can’t avoid every bee. But you also don’t want to miss all the sweet stuff because you were too busy worrying about getting stung. 🤍

A little trip around the world… without ever leaving Baton Rouge. 🌎

One of my favorite things about living here is how many incredible locally owned spots give you a taste of another culture right in our own backyard. From a cozy French dinner at Maison Lacour to Greek favorites at Zorba’s, Indian dishes at Swagat, and Vietnamese comfort food at Nammi, there is SO much to explore without booking a flight.

Save this for your next date night or “we want to try somewhere different” dinner. And tell me, have you tried any of these spots?

You don’t have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward. Sometimes the biggest growth happens in the seasons where you’re simply choosing to show up, trust the process, and take the next right step.

Keep going. The version of you you’re becoming is worth it.

Allow me to reintroduce myself 🤍

I’m Cherie, Baton Rouge Realtor, mom, LSU fan, Disney lover, and the person who will probably know where you can grab a good coffee, find something fun to do with the kids, AND what houses just hit the market. 😂

Real estate is obviously a big part of what I do, but I’ve always wanted this page to feel like more than just listings and “just sold” posts. I love sharing the people, places, events, and little things that make Baton Rouge feel like home.

When I’m not showing houses or answering real estate questions, you’ll usually find me doing mom life, volunteering at my son’s school, planning our next Disney trip, cheering on LSU, or finding another local spot to add to my list.

So whether you’ve been here for a while or you’re new around here, hi! I’m glad you’re here. 🫶🏼
