While most brokerages focus on getting agents into production, they neglect to provide adequate training on negotiation skills and client education. Although real estate school covers major concepts, legalities, and agent res
ponsibilities, agents rarely get to see a contract and learn how to read and understand it. At Brookhaven Realty, we take a different approach. We prioritize mentorship and hands-on training for our agents. Our consulting firm, Agent Resource Consulting, provides guidance on how to grow a successful business while also ensuring that agents know how to handle transactions with confidence. We believe that real estate expertise comes from experience, which is why our agents work directly with our consulting firm for their first few deals. Once Brookhaven Realty agents complete five transactions, they receive mentorship on an as-needed basis. Our agents are required to become members of the board, which distinguishes them as Realtors® and further reinforces their commitment to excellence. They also participate in 12 hours of commission-approved education every year to stay up-to-date with industry best practices. Our goal is to create real estate experts who can navigate transactions with ease and provide exceptional service to their clients.
