From PCS to Retirement: A 9-Year Real Estate Journey! 🏡✨

Nine years ago, these wonderful clients were transferring to Kitsap on military orders. A referral from a friend/past client brought us together, and we hit the ground running to find them the perfect home while they were here shopping. We clicked so well that just a few months later, they trusted me to sell their rental property, too.

Fast forward to today: they are wrapping up their active duty career and getting ready to move out of state. Over the last few months, we have been working closely together on a strategic plan. We spent time discussing exactly what to update (and what to skip!) to get the house ready for the market.

While we were right in the middle of updating the primary bathroom, some off-market magic happened. We found a buyer and received an offer they simply couldn't refuse, well before we even officially listed! 🤯

🏡 More homes are hitting the market right now, which is giving buyers more options and a little more room to be selective.

We’re still seeing steady activity across Kitsap County, with homes continuing to go pending each week, but the pace has shifted from the fast-moving frenzy we saw a few years ago. Buyers are taking more time, comparing homes carefully, and paying close attention to pricing and condition.

For sellers, that means preparation and strategy matter more than ever. For buyers, it can create opportunities to slow down, explore options, and make thoughtful decisions without feeling quite as rushed.

The market is still moving, it just looks a little different than it did before. 🏠

Family means everything to me 🤍

I’m so grateful for my husband, our two kids and the wonderful life we’ve built together. They are my biggest support, my motivation, and the reason behind so much of what I do every day.

Today feels like a good reminder to slow down, soak in the little moments, and appreciate the people who matter most.
