McMillan Metro Faerber, P.C., an AV-rated Montgomery County law firm that serves the greater Washington Metropolitan area, is looking for an outstanding attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our Corporate & Business Law practice group. The candidate must have hands-on experience with the ability to work independently. The candidate will be asked to draft documents and provide counseling to clients in the areas of general business and corporate law and transactions, which may include stock and asset purchase transactions, shareholders’ and operating agreements, personal and commercial service and supplier agreements, and business and corporate governance. The ideal candidate also will have employment law experience, including drafting and negotiating employment agreements and up-to-date employment policies. The position requires excellent drafting and analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects on short deadlines. The candidate must be admitted to practice in Maryland; admission in Virginia and/or DC is a plus. Some portable business is desired and will be supported but is not required. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with some hands-on experience who is looking for professional camaraderie and support in taking their practice to the next level. The wage range for this position (dependent upon experience) is $120,000 – $150,000, plus an achievable incentive bonus plan.
