Word is that Joe's Meat Shoppe in North Hampton has sold! This has long been one of my favorite spots to grab a sandwich and head down to North Beach for a little car picnic with an ocean view.

There's something special about an old-fashioned neighborhood store, from the floors and character to the great food and friendly service.

A big thank you to the previous owner for doing such a wonderful job over the years and making Joe's a place so many of us have come to love.

I'm hoping the new owner keeps everything that makes Joe's so special. As long as that charm, great food, and friendly service remain, I'll certainly keep coming back!

Some of these sound like common sense, but they are worth mentioning. Twice in my career, years ago, I had someone make a large purchase and delayed the closing. I always joke, it's Ramen Noodle Soup till after closing. :)

With a never ending list of everything you ‘should do’ when purchasing a home, it seems counterproductive to focus on what you should not do. But being aware of the dont’s is just as important as the do’s, when it comes to making the biggest financial investment of your life.

Some great news for Stratham! 🌱

Tendercrop Farm is reportedly moving into the former Scamman’s Home & Garden location on Portsmouth Avenue.
I’m a big fan of Stratham and have lived there multiple times over the years, so I was especially happy to see this. Earlier plans called for another car dealership at the site. No offense to car dealerships, but I think Tendercrop is a much better fit for this beautiful property and for Stratham.

It’s nice to see a longtime farm-and-garden location continue with a local business that feels so connected to the character of the Seacoast.
