What does a good real estate agent actually do for you?

Sometimes, it’s the things happening behind the scenes that make the biggest difference.

For this client, it meant connecting him with the right lender, helping him secure a great rate, and negotiating strategically to get a better price on the final deal.

But beyond the numbers, I think being a good agent means being responsive, prepared, accountable, and genuinely invested in the outcome.

This review meant a lot to me because these are exactly the qualities I want my clients to experience — not just during the exciting parts of a transaction, but when decisions get complicated and having the right person in your corner really matters.

12 months full-time in real estate. 🏡

But my real estate journey started 8 years ago as an investor, landlord, and Airbnb Superhost.

While visiting 卓也小屋 (Zhuo Ye Cottage) in Sanyi, Miaoli, Taiwan, I found myself looking at this place a little differently—not just as a traveler, but as a realtor and a fellow vacation-rental host.
Surrounded by lush greenery, water, and beautifully designed cottages, this property feels like a private little resort tucked into nature. 🌱💧
What I loved most was how intentionally the experience was created. The landscape, architecture, details, and sense of privacy all work together to make guests want to slow down, explore, and stay a little longer.

As an Airbnb Superhost, I’m always inspired by seeing how other hosts create memorable guest experiences—and this one definitely gave me a few ideas to bring home. ✨
