Recently in Gilliam County, a three-vehicle crash claimed one life and left another man seriously injured.

This accident occurred after a driver pulled over because of a flat tire on I-84 about 40 miles east of The Dalles. An ODOT worker stopped to help, blocking the right lane of travel with a large electronic reader board alerting oncoming traffic to move over.
