Out of town guests for Thanksgiving? Here’s a round up of some of my fave places to take folks (because who really cares if you can fit into your pants after the holiday)…
The “can’t miss” places in PDX:
for dessertportland.or for their spanish coffee.
for the bevies and the vibes.
is kicking it up a notch by serving Thanksgiving inspired ice cream.
There are about a gazillion coffee shops I love but here are a couple stand-outs: for Vietnamese coffee. Totally worth it! Or visit my friends for a Habanero mocha. Definitely try any of their baked goods, too.
For a non-traditional Thanksgiving:
- for a Filipino-inspired, Thanksgiving meal.
-Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse for an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving. My family did this one year and it was amazing!
-My friends over are serving up a donation based Thanksgiving. Love the pay-it-forward vibes, guys!
Order pies or baked goods from one of these local bakers: , for GF & Vegan baked goods, or
for Filipino baked goods, for Vietnamese treats or for donuts.
For brunch:
-I came upon this summer & it’s a gem! Great for dinner too!
-Love .osita.pdx for their breakfast tacos & green smoothies.
- for breakfast sandwiches
- for everything!
Or try dim-sum H.K Cafe.
For cocktails:
is open again. dune. Swanky & delish. Vegan options.
-On my list to try is for their soju and Korean tapas.
for wine & the duck stack
for the vibes. Get the margarita pitcher. Trust me.
-I will never stop recommending for their cocktails & their ricotta donuts!
There are soooo many MORE amazing places! What are your favorite go-to spots?
