The Portland Criterium returns to the streets of Portland on August 15 and 16.

🚲 Think you know Oregon's bike laws?

Here are a few that surprise many people:
• People on bikes may use the full lane when it's necessary for safety.
• Drivers must leave enough space when passing a person riding a bicycle.
• A bicycle is considered a vehicle under Oregon law, which means cyclists have both rights and responsibilities on the road.

Knowing the rules helps make Portland's streets safer for everyone 👍

Bike Summer, Portland's summer-long festival of free community-led bike events, kicks off on June 1! Anyone can lead a ride, and the organizing team provides plenty of support to help new ride leaders get started.

The annual Community Cycling Center Transportation Trivia night is rolling up on May 14!

Celebrate Bike Month with one of Portland’s most wonderfully wonky events, packed with hilarious trivia, good people and plenty of bike enthusiasm.

Special guest this year: our own Mark Ginsberg will be serving up a few bike law trivia questions. Some are tricky, all are useful, and you might walk away with a few facts every rider should know.
