We take that responsibility seriously, and we believe the way we show up for our clients reflects who we are as a firm.

We are looking forward to having Natalie join us next year!

When Natalie Jump ’26 came to Maine Law, she thought her future was firmly rooted in environmental policy. But through experiences like the Rural Practice Clinic in Fort Kent, work with the Maine Law Review, and courtroom advocacy opportunities, she discovered a much broader vision of what it means to practice law.

“You get this sense that the law is known and predictable, but people are not,” Jump said. “That’s where the complexity of practicing lies.” After graduation, Jump will clerk at the Kennebec County Superior Court before joining Perkins Thompson as an associate.

Supporting initiatives that strengthen local institutions like our public libraries is one of the ways we stay connected to the people and places we call home.
