So just what exactly *is* a notary public? Is it someone who takes notes? Or someone who officially signs things? It's not quite either of those.
A notary public is an individual appointed by the state to serve as an impartial witness to the signing of important documents. In a sense the notary public acts as the "eyes" of the state, ensuring that important documents are signed correctly and legitimately.
My job is to screen the signers of important documents, verifying their identity, and ensuring that they are signing willingly without duress.
There are all sorts of documents that a notary public can help you with, from power of attorney, deeds of trust and contracts, to applications for domestic partnerships and medical authorizations for minors.
I am here for all your notary needs. Even if you're not sure if something needs to be notarized, contact me and I'll take a look at the document for you. As a mobile notary I make it easy by travelling to you. Whether that's at work, home, or your local café, I can meet you wherever you need. So if you have any notary needs please feel free to contact me!
