I’ve owned my home for 22 years. When I purchased it, I honestly didn’t think about all the responsibilities that came with homeownership. And believe me, I’ve learned A LOT along the way! 😂

I wasn’t in real estate at the time. I was simply a mom who was tired of apartment living and wanted a place to raise my children.

What I didn’t fully understand back then was that I wasn’t just buying a home for my family. I was also making an investment in our future. I didn’t know much about building equity, property values, or the long-term financial responsibilities and benefits of homeownership.

Looking back, I’m so glad I made the decision to get serious about buying a home.

I’ve watched my children and the neighborhood kids play, grow up, and make memories here. Now, I’m watching my grandchildren do the same. ❤️

When I was a little girl, my grandparents’ home was my refuge. A place where I felt safe, loved, and always welcome. My hope is that one day, when my grandchildren are grown, they’ll look back and feel the same way about Gigi’s house. 🥹❤️

And yes, today I’m out here pushing my manual lawn mower and picking up nails and rusty metal from my yard. Just another day of homeowner’s chores! 😂🧲

Homeownership isn’t always easy, but for me, it’s been worth it.

What started as a dream of having a place to call our own became so much more. ❤️
