After becoming a parent then a grandparent, spending 10 years in the Navy, and 20 years in business, I decided to pursue a law degree, fulfilling a life-long dream. My practical experience in business and in the military brings a unique perspective and understanding of families' needs. My special areas of interest are Collaborative Law and Mediation, focusing on Family Law and Estate Planning. I h

ave traveled all over the globe - from rural Michigan towns to mountain peaks in Nepal – and those life experiences have shown me that no matter where you travel, family values are consistently first to most people. Practicing law collaboratively allows me the tangible opportunity to seek peaceful solutions to difficult family issues.
