👸🏾👸🏽👸🏻In February 1980, President Jimmy Carter issued the first Presidential Proclamation declaring the Week of March 8th of 1980 as National Women’s History Week. In 1987, The United States proclaimed March as National Women’s History Month to pay extra attention to the amazing accomplishments of strong, determined women. Today, women continue to excel in every profession, many of which were once dominated by men.

Women’s History Month serves as a reminder that the fight for gender equality is far from over. It encourages individuals to take action in their communities to support women’s rights and work towards a more inclusive and equitable society! Let’s go ladies!!
