The post I never wanted to write. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say our goodbyes to Jerry Yatooma. Jerry passed away today after a long 5.5 year battle of cancer. Jerry and I forged an immediate friendship when I first met him 20ish years ago. Little did I know he would become a brother to me. You will be missed Jer-Bear!!! I love you.

The Packer Group was honored to host yet another amazing golf outing benefiting New Hope Center for Grief Support. Every dollar raised helps send children to New Hope’s kids camp, giving them a safe place to heal, connect, and find support during some of life’s hardest moments.

Because of our incredibly generous sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and everyone who participated in all of Jeff’s fundraising shenanigans throughout the day, we were proud to present New Hope Center for Grief Support with a check for $20,000 this past Wednesday!

We are beyond grateful for our amazing staff, volunteers, and everyone who helps make this event possible year after year.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, resources, and hearts to make such a meaningful impact on the lives of these children and their families.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🤍
