RKOR is pleased to announce that Personal Injury Attorney Maurice Hall will reign as the King-elect for the 2024 Mardi Gras festivities. As a successful lawyer serving the community for the past 15 years, Attorney Hall has helped hundreds of individuals with their legal needs.
Maurice Hall, Esq., a prominent attorney has served his community well. Maurice prides himself on helping others and that is why he is committed to fighting for his clients’ rights. His passion for legal justice was honed as a teenager where he witnessed many inequities in the community. This inspired him to enter the legal field to provide justice to all people.
Maurice, after receiving his high school diploma from Plaquemine High, he went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern University in 1997. Thereafter, in 2004, Maurice received his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center. Maurice got his start in the legal system as a law clerk under the leadership of the Honorable Judge Alvin Batiste, Jr. In 2006, Maurice opened his own law firm, The Law Office of Maurice D. Hall and Associates in his hometown of Plaquemine, La.
Hall is ready to love and ready to make a move into the hearts of the Plaquemine and surrounding communities by serving as King-elect for the 2024 carnival festivities. Hall has over ten years experience as a personal injury attorney. He prides himself on helping others understand that personal injuries go hand-in-hand with the burden of medical expenses, lost wages, pain, suffering, and emotional distress. That is why Hall is committed to fighting for his clients’ rights and getting them the compensation they deserve. Hall says that you the community has trusted him with your legal matters, now he wants to serve that same community by taking the reign and serving as the 2024 King-elect for the RKOR.
The Hall family line mantra includes one thing…Service!! Being rooted in family, Maurice’s mantra is no different. It is through service that Maurice finds solace. Maurice credits his success to his grandfather, the late Edward Hall, Sr., who has taught him what It means to be a Man of God and to continue his work. He is the son of the late Andrew Oliver and Kitty Hall Oliver. Maurice is the proud father of four children: Mr. and Mrs. Marquell (James) Clark, Markeya, Maurice, Jr., and Marquise Hall.
Maurice’s latest venture can be seen on Friday nights on the renowned OWN Network as he is a part of the 2023 Ready to Love Make a Move cast.
Attorney Hall is honored and grateful to RKOR for selecting him to reign as the 2024 King-elect for the annual Mardi Gras festivities. Maurice’s goal as the Krewe’s 2024 selection is to serve with strength and to lead with humility. Hall looks forward to continuing to serve the people of Iberville Parish and surrounding areas.
