To my followers:
Friends and fellow Americans. The Attorney General may serve at the pleasure of the president but he does not serve for the president anymore than he serves for you.
The US Department of Justice belongs to the people of the United States and is NOT the personal law firm of the president.
Todd Blanche has taken an oath as an attorney to defend the US Constitution. He has proven that his interests lie in protecting the current president, his former client, rather than defending our, yours and my, Constitution.
There is not a single reason from his history to believe that should he take the oath as Attorney General he will honor that oath any more than he has honored his oath as an attorney.
Tell your senator to oppose him as Attorney General.
This is your Justice System and it has served you well for 250 years. Not perfectly, but still the envy of the free world and not so free world.
The question remains, How much are you, as law abiding American citizens of this democratic nation, willing to tolerate? Are you willing to give away your most precious gift of equal justice to satisfy the need for the perceived grievances, vengance and retribution by a sad disturbed authoritarian or will you demand that the most important lawyer in America be one that can be trusted to honor his oaths to America, to the American Bar, to the United States or simply to honor his oath to his former client and let the rest of us be damned? Tell your Senator to vote NO on his nomination for Attorney General.
