We are pleased to announce Heather L. King as the 2023 Gene Cavin Award winner! The Gene Cavin Award for Excellence in Continuing Legal Education was established by the CLE Committee in 1989 and recognizes long-term participation in State Bar CLE activities, either seminars or publications. It is named for the founder of the Professional Development Program who during his service from 1964 to 1987 lifted the level of practice in our state while bringing the program to international prominence. Heather will be presented with the award at the Advanced Family Law Course in San Antonio. Congratulations, Heather! 👏👏👏
