The GAL Guidelines were approved by the Supreme Court and go into effect on January 1, 2025. Anyone planning to serve as a GAL after Jan. 1 needs to complete the GAL Application. The State Office of GAL/CASA is hosting a webinar providing an overview of the new GAL Guidelines on Dec. 16 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. ET. Judicial officers and GALs can attend. Information on the Dec.18 initial training to become a GAL is available on the Kids Voice website.

The Community Justice Campus will be closed on Monday, July 17, 2023 in observance of the services for Deputy John Durm. Deputy Durm was killed on July 10, 2023, in the line of duty while transporting an inmate at the Community Justice Campus. The Juvenile Detention Center and Juvenile Probation Intake at 25th & Keystone will be open and operational.
