Being a mom makes me a better manager. I really believe that.

It came up on the podcast: being a mom gives you a lot of sensitivity for the men and women you work with who have families. And yes. I know what it's like to be pulled in two directions, because I'm pulled in two directions every single day.

Here's the honest part. Live-work balance is hard. It's a real thing. You have your kids, and you also have this commitment and obligation to your clients to kind of always be available. It's a real tug of war. I'm not gonna pretend it isn't.

But you shouldn't have to fight that tug of war by yourself. My agents know I'm running to pick up my kid at 3, and they know I'm on the phone at 9 helping a new agent write a first offer. That's the deal. It's family oriented. It's a family-based company. They get it.
